The test on chapter 23 will be on Monday 3/25/13. You will need to know the following:
- how to balance chemical equations
- identify the type of reaction...synthesis, decomposition, single replacement or double replacement
- change a chemical equation from written form into formula form
- predict the products of a chemical equation
- know the parts of a chemical equation...reactants, products, yields, subscript and coefficient
- know the signs of a chemical reaction occurring...change in temp, change in color, formation of a gas and formation of a precipitate
- be able to draw the graph that represents either an endothermic or exothermic reaction and be able to label the activation energy, the energy released or absorbed, the reactants and products, and the transition state. We did not get to go over this in class, so you will need to go over this on your own. You can get this from your notes or the textbook!!!
- You are also responsible for anything else in your notes on chapter 23!!!
Here is the answer key to the practice test you did in class on Friday. This will help you be ready for your test on Monday!!
